Bio

I am Károly Ascher, a film director and casting director based in Budapest.

I graduated with an MA in Film Studies from ELTE in 2023.

I direct commercials and work as a casting director for short and feature films, music videos.

For the past six years, I have been teaching filmmaking to young people aged 12–18, and I regularly run workshops for disadvantaged children from residential institutions in collaboration with Életrevaló Egyesület.
